Abstract Criteria For Category (1-3)

 

  1. Language and organization.
  2. The theoretical framework of the study.
  3. Justifications for the study and its importance.
  4. The research methodology used.
  5. Study results and recommendations.
  6. The length of the abstract.

Abstract Guidelines For Category (1-3)

 

  1. The abstract must be submitted electronically via the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/5P0HCJgJyz
  2. The length of the abstract should be between 250-500 words.
  3. Specify the submission category.

Note: Feedback will be provided by a judging panel from various disciplines after each student’s presentation.

Presentation Criteria for Category (4)

 

 

  1. Clarity and Ease of Communication: The presentation should be well-structured and clear so that the audience can easily understand the content.
  2. Use of Clear and Accessible Scientific Language: Complex terminology should be avoided unless necessary, and when used, it should be explained clearly.
  3. Adherence to the Time Limit: The presentation must not exceed the allocated time (maximum of 3 minutes).
  4. Audience Engagement: Effective public speaking and communication skills should be demonstrated through body language, voice modulation, and eye contact with the audience.
  5. Use of Supporting Visual Aids: PowerPoint slides or other visual aids may be used to enhance the presentation, provided they are simple and not overloaded with information.
  6. Preparation and Practice: Participants are encouraged to rehearse their presentation multiple times to ensure fluency and confidence during delivery.
  7. Compliance with Academic Integrity: The content presented must be original, based on reliable sources, and free from any violations of academic ethics.

Judging and Evaluation Mechanism for Category (4)

 

    A Multidisciplinary Judging Panel Will Be Appointed to Evaluate Student Presentations Based On Precise Criteria, Including:

    1. Clarity of the Research Idea, Problem, and Its Importance to Society.
    2. Relevance of Research to National Priorities in Scientific Research.
    3. The Student’s Ability to Simplify Scientific Concepts Without Compromising Academic Accuracy.
    4. Quality and Simplicity of the Presentation, and the Student’s Ability to Effectively Communicate Their Idea to a Diverse Audience.
    5. Innovation and Creativity in Presenting Research.
    6. The Student’s Ability to Relate Their Research to Practical and Applied Contexts.
    7. Confidence and Enthusiasm Demonstrated During the Presentation.
    8. The Student’s Understanding of Their Research, Measured by Their Ability to Present the Idea Concisely Without Unnecessary Length (Presentation Duration Should Not Exceed 3 Minutes).

    Note: The research will be evaluated by 80% by the judges and 20% by the audience.
